MOSCOW - Russia's Emergencies Ministry says eight foreign citizens, including two Britons, are among the 35 people killed in a suicide bombing at Moscow's busiest airport.A explosion ripped through the arrivals hall at Moscow's busiest airport on Monday, killing 31 people and wounding about 130, Health Ministry officials said.
Russian news agency Interfax reported on its website that the explosion took place near the luggage check-in section.
The cause of the blast had not yet been determined; however, both Reuters and Agence France-Presse news agencies were reporting it was the result of a suicide bombing.The death toll later rose to 35 as one person died while being hospitalized and three succumbed to their injuries in hospital.
Russian Health Minister Tatyana Golikova said, adding that the casualty figures are very likely to rise.The health ministry published its preliminary list of injured early on Tuesday, in which 126 people were mentioned. One of them was identified as a French citizen.
