Pro Bowl Score : NFC Knocks Off AFC in an Epic Defensive Battle.The NFL does a lot of things right. They have the best television product of any of the major sports in this country. The league makes billions of dollars every year from television contracts, merchandise sales and ad revenue.In the NFC, Atlanta Falcons got the most number with 9 players. This should make for a very interesting matchup since their respective coaches will be in charge. On the other hand, the AFC just has more impact players like Darrelle Revis and Jamaal Charles, which both will be hard to neutralize.

As the NFL All-Star Game composition preview, New England Patriots got the most number of selections in the AFC with 8 football players. In the NFC, Atlanta Falcons got the most number with 9 players. This should make for a very interesting matchup since their respective coaches will be in charge.In last night's Pro Bowl, the NFC defeated the AFC 55-41. The NFC jumped out to a 42-0 lead early and held on late to win the game. Although, in one of the more ironic twists, it was a defensive player who was named the game's MVP, Washington CB DeAngelo Hall. He had an interception and forced a fumble, which he returned for a touchdown.

Every year it is one of the worst showcases of talent in sports. No one cares and you get some awful football as a result.But just when it appeared it would be the most one-sided game in Pro Bowl history, eclipsing the Joe Theismann-led 45-3 NFC rout of the AFC in 1984, the AFC scored three touchdowns in a row. The last came on the game's seventh turnover, when Devin Hester tried to hand the kickoff return to Hall, but the ball fell to the turf. The Jaguars’ Montell Owens scooped it up and ran it in 8 yards for the score to make it 42-21 with 10 minutes left in the third quarter.

Eagles quarterback Michael Vick started but played only the first quarter, completing 5 of 10 passes for 59 yards.Adrian Peterson rushed for 80 yards in 14 carries for the NFC, including a 14-yarder to set a Pro Bowl record with four career rushing touchdowns. Atlanta got good performances from Matt Ryan (9 of 13 for 118 yards and two touchdowns with an interception), Michael Turner (eight carries for 53 yards) and Roddy White (five catches for 69 yards).
