Marie Osmond is one of the many stars in Hollywood who is mourning the passing of legendary actress, Elizabeth Taylor last week.Elizabeth’s life ended at the age of 79, but her legacy will live on forever.

Marie Osmond spoke out about the first time she ever met Elizabeth Taylor after she and her brother Donny Osmond did their 500th show at the Flamingo in Las Vegas the other night.

She met Elizabeth Taylor at the White House during Ronald Reagan’s presidency.Of the meeting, Marie said, “Those eyes…They were so beautiful just as everyone says.

Osmond, who just did her 500th show at the Flamingo in Las Vegas with brother Donny, took some time after the show to discuss Taylor. “Those eyes…They were so beautiful just as everyone says. She was an inspiration.

She showed so much courage in her fight against AIDS. She was one of the first celebrities to take up that cause, and I respect her so much for that.”

On Tuesday, Osmond’s most recent “Oprah” appearance re-aired, in which she discussed the tragic suicide of her son, Michael.

MTV has announced that the fourth season of the reality show will move the cast from their Jersey base to the place that Chris Linn, executive vice president of programming and head of production for MTV, calls the “birthplace of the culture they love and live by.





”According to Deadline, the television network has decided to move locations for the upcoming season. You may remember the second cycle saw the cast members invade Miami; now they’re set to destroy another part of the world: Italy. It makes a lot of sense really. The housemates have spent three seasons emulating what they see as Italian culture.



They might as well get a taste of the real thing.No word yet on how accessible gyms, tanning salons or laundromats are in Europe, but if we’re in luck, they’ll be placed in a town with plenty of grenades. Here’s to hoping Vinny, Paulie and the Situation take the early flight so MVP can finally get their own room.

American idol 2011 opened season 10 auditions january 19, 2011. With the new season came new judges. Joining returning judge randy jackson were actress, dancer, singer and record producer, jennifer lopez and singer, songwriter and lead vocalist of the rock band aerosmith, steven tyler.

Randy Jackson: No real surprises here, Randy was the Randy we’ve come to know and…well, know. Randy was upbeat, encouraging, and still friendly even when he had to crush the dreams of contestants.

Steven Tyler: Where do we begin? We figured Steven Tyler would be quirky and full-lipped, and he delivered on both counts. Tyler sang along with contestants, came off as condescending when he tried to be funny (as when he told a contestant he considered wearing the same plaid shorts) and consistently demonstrated his inability to understand the intricacies of English grammar, repeatedly saying, “You sing beautiful.”

Jennifer Lopez: By now, you’re probably familiar with Jennifer Lopez, but seeing her as an American Idol 2011 judge was a bit of a change. Although Lopez was generally friendly, she came off as harsh on several occasions, shouting “Stop!” at one contestant and telling another that she would have to change her appearance in order to further her career.

American Idol 2011 season 10 auditions were a lot different from auditions in the past. There was no harsh criticism and no disagreements between the judges, just a lot of fun. The addition of Lopez and Tyler to the 2011 judging panel seems to be a success.

The Golden Globe Awards 2011 air this Sunday night, and include 12 movie categories. There are a lot of known names in tonight’s lineup, and many fear/horror fans are surely rooting for Natalie Portman as she is the front runner for best actress in her role for Black Swan.

The movie Black Swan also received two other nominations for the Golden Globes 2011, including a nod for best director and best supporting actress. We definitely want to wish them all luck tonight.
