Comex has finally released the long awaited untethered jailbreak solution: JailbreakMe 3.0 for iOS devices. This tool will allow you to jailbreak any iOS device including iPad 2 on iOS 4.3.3 in the easiest manner.
In order to jailbreak your device you have to simply open www.jailbreakme.com from Safari on your device and follow the instructions there. Don’t forget to backup before proceeding and also make sure that your device is upgraded to iOS 4.3.3 (iPhone users who want to unlock should avoid upgrading to iOS 4.3.3).
Note: If you are upgrading to 4.3.3 from a previous firmware then don’t forget to save your SHSH Blobs using TinyUmbrella.
JailbreakMe 3.0 doesn’t require any PC or Mac for the jailbreak. All you need is a Wi-Fi connection. It simply works like the AppStore. You have to open the URL mentioned above in Safari and then simply tap the “Free” icon and then install. Once done Cydia is automatically downloaded and installed on your device. Reboot your device and enjoy!
JailbreakMe 3.0 currently supports iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch, iPad 2 and it also supports the first generation iPad but on the same condition that it should be running iOS 4.3.3. The support for earlier versions will be added by Comex in the coming days.
Once you have jailbroken your device don’t forget to save the SHSH Blobs for iOS 4.3.3 as the release of iOS 4.3.4 by Apple is imminent in order to patch the existing exploit.
Note: Some users might face a problem downloading the files from the server due to the high traffic on the web. If you are unable to jailbreak your device then restart your device and try again in a few hours or days.
Best of luck!
