Natalie Munroe : Blog Lands Teacher in Trouble | Natalie Munroe Blog Lands Teacher in Hot Water Photos & Video

Teacher Natalie Munroe makes no excuses for writing blog posts about her students which include statements like, "A complete and utter jerk in all ways," "although academically okay your child has no other redeeming qualities," "I hear the trash company is hiring," and "There's no other way to say this, I hate your kid."

"My students are out of control," Munroe, who has taught 10th, 11th and 12th grades, wrote in one post. "They are rude, disengaged, lazy whiners. They curse, discuss drugs, talk back, argue for grades, complain about everything, fancy themselves entitled to whatever they desire, and are just generally annoying.

"I don't think I did anything wrong," Munroe, a teacher at Central Bucks East High School in Doylestown, Pa., told ABC News. The 30-year-old teacher used the name "Natalie M" and never identified the name of the school in the posts that also lashed out against other teachers and administrators.

But once word got out it was her, the school suspended Munroe with pay.“A complete and utter jerk in all ways,”

“although academically okay your child has no other redeeming qualities,”

“I hear the trash company is hiring,”

“There’s no other way to say this, I hate your kid.”She also called them “out of control,” and “rude, lazy, disengaged whiners.” Lovely. And she is assigned to teach, inspire and educate our children?!?

"They get angry when you ask them to think or be creative," Munroe said of her students in an interview with The Associated Press on Tuesday. "The students are not being held accountable."

Munroe pointed out that she also said positive things, but she acknowledges that she did write some things out of frustration.

A spokesman for the Pennsylvania State Education Association declined to comment Tuesday to the Associated Press.

According to CBS affiliate KYW, Munroe has hired an attorney, who said that she had the right to post her thoughts on the blog and that it's a free speech issue. The attorney, Steven Rovner, said the district has led Munroe to believe that she will eventually lose her job.Rovner said that he would consider legal action if indeed Munroe loses her job.
