See Jon Stewart Takes On Obama's Debt Speech

President Barack Obama, most notable for claiming Congress is made up of a bunch of useless slackers compared to the First Daughters, received mostly lukewarm reactions, to which, it appears, Jon Stewart was not immune. But while he explained tonight that he was not thrilled with Obama,he appeared far more upset by the Republican reaction to debt negotiations– which prove,

According to Stewart, that “Meatloaf’s premise is faulty.”Specifically, Stewart mocked House Speaker John Boehner saying he will not accept any tax raises eliminating one of the only two ways to cut the deficit while at the same time he's willing to negotiate with Democrats. The Democrats' "counter offer" didn't please Stewart either. He demonstrated this by showing a clip of Sen. Harry Reid suggesting that the GOP are living in a fantasy dream world if they don't agree with the Democrats. Another Dem suggested the GOP could be trying to slow down the government for political gain. Stewart was ready with a jab at the Senate Majority Leader.

Jon Stewart Brings Out John Mccain Puppet To Talk Immigration : Update Video

Wednesday night’s “Daily Show” took a departure from Jon Stewart’s ongoing battle with Fox News and focused one of its segments on the terrible wildfires in Arizona. Or, more importantly, the fact that Arizona Senator John McCain has said publicly that illegal immigrants — not high winds, drought or high temperatures — started some of the fires.ohn McCain made headlines this week addressing his home state of Arizona’s perilous wildfires, passing the blame for them onto illegal immigrants.

Given that he later stated he had never blamed immigrants for the fire currently taking over parts of the state, Jon Stewart wanted a further clarification of his original statement. Unfortunately, “John McCain f*cking hates us,” Stewart noted of the Daily Show, so he had to settle for “John McCain,” his puppet doppelganger.

“Puppet John McCain” was very clear in explaining how his original position was not inconsistent with subsequent claim that he had not blamed illegal immigrants for the fires. “I never said immigrants started the fire,” he told Stewart, “I said immigrants start fires.”
