The 2011 BET Awards were held in Los Angeles, CA on Sunday night (June 26).
Taking place at the Shrine Auditorium, the big winner of the night was Chris Brown - who garnered three trophies out of his pack-leading six nominations.Making for quite the awkward situation, there was a mix-up during the announcement of the Viewer's Choice winner - as Tiffany Greene first named Brown as the winner before then saying Drake and Rihanna were the victors. With Drake accepting the trophy, it was later confirmed that Brown was, indeed, the winner of the fan voted accolade. The 2011 edition of the show was packed with emotional moments (like Nicki Minaj’s acceptance speech) and some classy, brassy performances by Mary J. Blige and Jill Scott. (Also appearing: Rick Ross, bare-chested again.) You knew the Beyonce performance would rock the house (even if it was recorded at Glastonbury) — but did Ms. Kelly Rowland steal the show? Watch all the BET Awards performances below.
