This Summer sees the release of Selena Gomez' new movie Monte Carlo and we have some exciting new pictures from the shooting of the movie to share with you today.
The movie centres around Selena's character Grace who, after graduating high school takes her friends on a holiday to Europe. She stars alongside Leighton Meester and Katie Cassidy.Along the way Grace is mistaken for a spoiled British heiress by the name of Cordelia and before the girls get the chance to reveal their true identities, the girls are wrapped up in a whirlwind of paparazzi, couture gowns, storybook romances, and living the glamorous life in Monte Carlo.
The girls love interests are played by Glee star Corey Monteith and Luke Bracey whilst Selena gets to kiss French hunk Pierre Boulanger. You can see a picture of them getting close in our gallery.
Due out in 2011, the Thomas Bezucha directed film is based on the Jules Bass novel while written for the big screen by Thomas Bezucha. A synopsis of the movie describes the picture as being about "three young women vacationing in Paris who find themselves whisked away to Monte Carlo after one of the girls is mistaken for a British heiress."
She said she has had a chance to meet with Nicole — "She was very sweet and very excited, so I'm very thrilled" — but hasn't gotten to meet Leighton yet. "I'm a huge 'Gossip Girl' fan," Selena admitted, with a wave to the camera. We're guessing that wave was meant for Leighton, and that by now they have already met and are partying it up in Monte Carlo.
