VIOLENT EGYPT CLASHES CONTINUE Egypt's Prime Minister Ahmed Shafiq has apologized for violence yesterday in Cairo...while it continues today. From CNN: "The military - which had largely remained still in the area of Tahrir Square during violent clashes between supporters and foes of President Hosni Mubarak - took position between the clashing groups Thursday. Rocks flew back and forth in an empty construction area in front of a metal barricade that anti-Mubarak protesters set up overnight.
Donald Rumsfeld has a new book out – and it sounds like it may have some major revelations. Reports Alexander Mooney: "Ultimately, Rumsfeld blames former President Bush for not clearly resolving the disagreement and clearly charting a post-war plan before hostilities commenced, instead deferring to his point man on Iraq reconstruction, L. Paul Bremmer."
Anderson Cooper and his crew were attacked yesterday. From AC360 writer Maureen Miller: "Anderson knows all too well the danger. He, his producer and cameraman were attacked by a mob of Mubarak supporters.
And Charlie Sheen has a message from rehab – "BTW, two wars are in an endless state of sorrow. Egypt about burned to the ground, and all you people care about is my bullsh-t"
