The Packers lost two of their best players on opposite sides of the ball when Donald Driver and Charles Woodson went down for the remainder of the game after suffering injuries in the first half.“This is fun for me. I watch your show a lot,” Rodgers said, like a true Letterman fan.Aaron Rodgers is such a likeable guy – his Super Bowl MVP for the Green Bay Packers was well deserved. He talks about playing hard and studying plays – doing the work and taking his job as quarterback seriously.
Watch Aaron Rodgers on Letterman in Aaron Rodgers’ post Super Bowl David Letterman interview (video). So cute!
Letterman asked about being a quarterback and Aaron Rodgers talks about his responsibility to lead by example: “I do have to be one of the leaders, but I think it takes multiple leaders to have a lockerroom that functions properly, and thankfully a guy like Charles [Woodson] comes in with his reputation and his experience and with the way he plays and he’s got instant credibility with the guys. He’s taken on more of a speaking role this year in the lockerroom and me, I’m more of a leader by example.”
