Sal Picinich, At age of 64, Sal Picinich set to his finale place,RIP, as CP Reported that (CP) – Sal Picinich, a veteran baker who appeared on the reality series “Cake Boss,” has died in New Jersey. He was 63. His wife, Lucille, told the newspaper record was the cause of cancer. Picinich was born on the Croatian island of Susak.
He worked 45 years at Carlo’s Bakery in Hoboken, where the TV series is recorded.A native of Croatia who came to the United States in 1963, Picinich started baking at Carlo's in 1964 under Buddy Valastro Sr., whose son is now known far and wide as simply the "Cake Boss.''
